“We have been going to The Haldi for a long time and in the past it has been hit and miss with the quality of the food. Decided to give it another go as we heard that the management has recently changed and very glad that we did. The food was delicious!
There is 10% off of takeaway orders which meant the total bill was very reasonable and chose collection. Arrived on time and I was welcomed immediately by a friendly staff member. The restaurant was very clean inside and had a lovely aroma of food. The takeaway order came straight out and it was still piping hot by the time I got home.
The main courses were a good size portion, poppadoms were huge, rice perfect texture and everything tasted fantastic. There wasn't any grease on top of the sauce and the spice level was spot on for the jalfrezi. Will definitely be going back again. ”

“ We had our valentine meal here, the restaurant had made an effort with putting up heart balloons and rose petals on the tables with candles lit . Nice touch
The staff are all so friendly and welcoming, we had starters for the first time, which were freshly cooked and full of flavour, and a smaller main meal , with a recommended curry and different rice. Amazing. We love this restaurant and staff, the food is so full of flavour. The lovely waiter finished our meal with a complimentary Bailey each, lovely touch thank you 😊
The. only negative was so many people ordered takeaway rather than be at the restaurant , a shame as if the amount of takeaways that went out were instead people in the restaurant the atmosphere would have been very lively. This restaurant is not overpriced either”

Chicken tikka was really tasty and juicy.
The buffet could have been hotter. It was very reasonably priced.

“Nothing but Fantastic things to say about this place. I’ve been coming here for years and I’m never had a single bad or mediocre experience. It is always a pleasure to visit. Firstly the food is incredible. You can feel that the meat is very fresh and good quality. Very tasty and excellent suggestions from the staff. Speaking of, the staff are brilliant. Very social and friendly, always very welcoming. If you are looking for the best Indian restaurant you have found the one!”

“The Haldi is THE place to go if you want the very finest Indian cuisine. What’s more, it’s not in the centre of town but in a beautiful village with ample free parking right outside. I have been using this restaurant regularly for years for both takeaways and dining in and the food and service is of a consistently high standard. The dishes are absolutely divine and Maz is always happy to accommodate all your culinary needs if you want to create something that isn’t on the menu or make a recommendation if you want to try a new dish. I can honestly say I’ve never had a meal here that isn’t top notch. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my curry and the 5 star hygiene rating and frequently busy restaurant reflect this.”

“ When we got there, the staff were very friendly and seated us straight away. They talked us through the menu and gave good recommendations based on what kind of food we liked. The food itself was incredible from start to finish. The atmosphere and seating is warm and cozy and is definitely a place for all occasions. Parking right outside was also very handy.
